AFC East Teams Top Fantasy Assets!!!

The Next division I am going to dive into on our divisional tour is the AFC New England, I mean AFC East. Again, the purpose of this article is to list the five best fantasy options on each team based on my standard 12 team PPR projections. A side note I list teams in the order as I see them finishing this year in their division. So, let’s start with the AFC East champions I bet you can guess who.

New England Patriots

Tom Brady (QB) – The goat leads the team with 282 fantasy points. I project 4,305 passing yards and 28 touchdowns. He will gain a massive amount on the ground this year with 32 extra yards and one rushing score.

Julian Edelman (WR)- Will lead all patriots pass catchers with 230 fantasy points this year. I project 83 catches for 1,020 and 6 touchdowns. Edelman loves slot and he will eat there again this season.

Josh Gordon (WR)- Heeeee’s back but for how long. I am projecting 16 games out of Flash this season to the tune of 193 fantasy points. I project a 60 for 970 and 6 touchdown line for Mr. Gordon.

James White (RB)- He is once again the back to own for New England in PPR leagues. I project him to total 186 fantasy points this season. That is 394 on the ground with 3 touchdowns. He will add 71 catches for 510 yards and 3 more scores.

Sony Michele (RB)- The second-year runner is projected to for 160 fantasy points this season. I have rim rushing for 860 and 8 touchdowns. He will also catch 15 for 100 and one more score. I would not be surprised though if he blows my projections out the water and lead the league in rushing this year. This is possible but his injury history leaves me hesitant to project that.

New York Jets

Le’Veon Bell (RB)- Trades in the black and yellow for Gases’ crazy eyeballs and I don’t see him missing a beat after a season off. I project Bell to accumulate 260 fantasy points this season. He will gain 990 yards on the ground for 5 touchdowns. He will add 64 grabs for 500 more yards and 2 more touchdowns.

Sam Darnold (QB)- The Red Rocket will be the next highest scorer for the Jets with a projected 245 fantasy points. I have him throwing for 3,605 and 20 touchdowns. He will add 230 with his legs and another 3 scores.

Robby Anderson (WR)- will lead the Jets receivers with 186 fantasy points. I can see Anderson catching more underneath this year as he develops into a true number 1 for the Jets and isn’t just a deep threat anymore. I have him with 60 catches for 890 yards and 7 touchdowns.

Jamison Crowder (WR)- Crowder will catch 59 balls at least this year but he is guaranteed to miss some time because he has trouble staying on the field. He will total 648 yards and 4 touchdowns. I project a total of 146 fantasy points for the former skin.

Chris Herndon (TE)- Herndon wraps up the top Jets scorers with 89 fantasy points. I see him catching 30 for 350 and 4 touchdowns. This seems low to me even with the four game suspension but my numbers usually don’t lie.

Buffalo Bills

Josh Allen (QB)- The second-year gunslinger will lead the team in fantasy points this year with 258 fantasy points. I project him to throw for 2,870 yards and 15 touchdowns. He will add 7 touchdowns on the ground and an additional 625 yards rushing.

Devin Singeltary (RB)- With McCoy gone he will be thrusted into a bigger role. I project 158 fantasy points for his rookie year. I see him rushing for 670 and 5 touchdowns, while adding 22 for 200 through the air with 2 more scores.

John Brown (WR)- Smoke will be Allen’s go to deep threat and I have him projected for 126 fantasy points this season. I see him catching 42 balls for 618 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Cole Beasley (WR)- I have him as the number four fantasy option for the Bills this season with 111 fantasy points. I project Cole to catch 48 balls for 490 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Zay Jones (WR)- The fifth option and third wide receiver is projected to net 88 fantasy points this season. I have him with 35 grabs for 390 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Miami Dolphins

Josh Rosen (QB)- I project Fitz magic fizzling out after week one and Rosen taking over the reins to audition for new team after Miami unloads him for a new rookie franchise QB. Rosen will be best fantasy scorer with 208 fantasy points. I project him to throw for 3,250 and 18 touchdowns while adding 170 on the ground and 2 more scores.

Kenyan Drake (RB)- The Ballage hype will continue but he is proving he is not that good I project drake putting up better fantasy points, 171. I project 543 on ground with three touchdowns. He will catch 53 for 350 and 2 more scores.

Albert Wilson (WR)- Sleeper of the division this year. With Stills being sent to Texas Wilson will be leading fantasy wide out for the fins with 127 fantasy points. I project 47 catches for 510 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Kalen Ballage (RB)- A likely time share coming caps Ballage’s upside, so I have him projected for 106 fantasy points. I have him rushing for 581 yards and three touchdowns. He will add 16 grabs for 120 and an additional touchdown.

Devante Parker (WR)- Parker ties Ballage with 106 fantasy points projected. I see him catching 45 for 490 and just two touchdowns.

*To be Honest* Just stay clear of this whole fantasy dumpster fire this year if possible.
