The Next division I am going to dive into on our divisional tour is the AFC North. Again, the purpose of this article is to list the five best fantasy options on each team based on my standard 12 team PPR projections. A side note I list teams in the order as I see them finishing this year in their division. So, let’s start with the AFC North champions of this season the Cleveland Browns.
Odell Beckham Jr. (WR)- The top fantasy scorer on the Browns this year with 291 projected fantasy points. I have OBJ catching 96 balls for 1,275 yards and just under double digit touchdowns (9). Beckham finally can capture that early career magic now that he has a true gunslinger and baller at quarterback in Baker Mayfield who I have next on this list.
Baker Mayfield (QB) – I have Baker projected for 280 fantasy points this year. He is a natural leader who isn’t afraid to call it like he sees it, an ass if you will. Baker is projected to throw for 4,160 yards and 25 touchdowns. He will also rush for an additional 210 and 2 more scores.
Nick Chubb (RB)- I have the second year back who proved last year he is capable of every down duties. I project Chubb to amass 248 fantasy points this year. He will get it done on the ground with 1,160 yards and 8 touchdowns, while catching 45 for 310 more yards and 2 more touchdowns.
Jarvis Landry (WR)- Landry comes in next with projected points of 188. I have him with 73 catches for 787 yards and 5 touchdowns. Landry will find greater success this year with defenses focusing in on his teammate and friend OBJ.
David Njoku (TE) – The second-year tight end will take a step forward this season to the tune of 137 fantasy points which is good enough to make him the fifth best fantasy option on this team. I have Njoku slated for 51 grabs for 615 and 4 touchdowns.
Ben Roethlisberger (QB)- No AB no problem for big Ben who will lead his team with the most fantasy points this season with 289. I have Ben throwing for 4,380 yards and 28 touchdowns. He will throw most his balls to the number two projected scorer on this team listed next.
Juju Smith-Schuster (WR)- Will slot in as the teams’ number one with AB sporting the silver and black this year and is projected to net 277 fantasy points. I have Juju projected to catch 96 for 1,275 and 9 touchdowns.
James Conner (RB)- Conner continues his bell cow role this season with Le’Veon now a member of gang green and I project him to compile 238 fantasy points. I have Conner rushing for 986 and 7 touchdowns while adding 49 catches for an additional 400 yards and two touchdowns.
Donte Moncrief (WR)- Newly acquired wideout and projected starter for the 2019 Steelers is projected to garner 168 fantasy points this season. The number two in Pittsburgh typically finds success and I have Moncrief catching 57 for 795 and 6 touchdowns which is good enough to make him the fourth best fantasy option on this team.
Vance McDonald (TE)- Will need to step up this year and continue trending in the right direction. I have him projected for 151 fantasy points this season. McDonald will catch 60 for 710 and 5 touchdowns.
Lamar Jackson (QB)- I have Lamar projected to score the most of any Raven this year by a wide margin with 285.1 fantasy points. I have him throwing for just 3,015 and 15 touchdowns but he will amass a lot of points with his legs. I have Lamar scampering for 755 rush yards and 7 more touch downs, which outscores the second projected scorer on this team by 120 more points.
Mark Ingram (RB)- I have him as number two rusher on team behind Jackson totaling 730 yards for 5 touchdowns. I will give him 33 grabs for 230 and 1 more touchdown brining his total projected fantasy points to 165.
Willie Snead (WR)- I have Snead leading the Ravens in fantasy points at the wide out position with 140 fantasy points. I have him as the DeFacto number one with 59 catches for 638 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Mark Andrews (TE)- I have Lamar’s favorite target from last year next with a projected 132 fantasy points. I have Andrews slated for 28 grabs 650 yards and 4 touchdowns.
Miles Boykin (WR)- The fifth best option isn’t Hollywood Brown its Boykin who has been killing it deep all preseason long. I have him projected for 47 catches and 549 yards and 4 touchdowns which will project him with 120 fantasy points this season.
Andy Dalton (QB)- The Red Rifle will lead his team in fantasy points (262) as well as to a last place division finish. I have Dalton throwing for 3,850 and 25 touchdowns. The Bengals will rely heavily on the next guy and second highest scorer on team.
Joe Mixon (RB)- I have Mixon punching the projections in the face, to soon, with 236 fantasy points this year. I have Mixon rushing for 1,007 yards and 5 touchdowns. He will also add 50 catches for another 373 and 2 touchdowns. The offense will rely heavy on Mixon and we will see if he can stay on the field this year.
AJ Green (WR)- I have Green missing the first two games and still being the third best fantasy scorer on this team with 215 projected fantasy points. I have Green slated for 69 grabs for 1,007 and 8 touchdowns.
Tyler Boyd (WR)- Emerged last year as a great fantasy weapon and he will be this teams fourth best option netting 209 fantasy points. He will catch 76 balls for 986 and 6 touchdowns for big orange this season.
Giovani Bernard (RB)- Wait no John Ross? Is this a typo? Kidding aside the fifth best option for the team comes as their second back who I have projected with 116 fantasy points. I have Gio rushing for only 300 yards and 1 score but doing damage in passing game catching 40 for 312 and 2 more touchdowns. If Mixon goes down like last year these projections will rise.
