Cincy to Franchise Green

Reports out of Cincinnati this weekend is that the Bengal’s organization plan is to not let their star wide receiver leave town. The Team will look to franchise Green for the 2020 season. Green has gone on record saying that the tag is not ideal and what he wants to happen, but he will welcome the 18 million that comes with the tag. Green also has stated that he loves the city and its people along with the fall weather. It is clear that with Burrows more than likely coming to Cincy via the first overall pick they want a stud receiver waiting for the rookie when he arrives.

Dalton on the Move?

Unlike Green, Dalton appears not to be in the Bengals 2020 plans. It has been reported that the Chicago Bears have inquired about the veteran signal caller. Two other teams who have reportedly reached out about Dalton are the Colts and Patriots. Dalton will most likely be made available this offseason via trade or as a free agent after he is cut by the team.

The Goat’s Future

Nothing has changed yet as it pertains to Tom Brady’s future. The Patriots have not yet met with Brady or his representatives, pretty much signaling that the future hall of famer will test the market for the first time in his career at age 42. The two teams being linked to Brady are the Las Vegas Raiders and the Tennessee Titans. Brady was seen at a college basketball game over the weekend with Julian Edelman who joked to camera saying, “he will be back.” Brady looks to respond by saying, “no I won’t.” The two then were shown face timing Titans head coach and former teammate Mike Vrabel, which will fuel the Brady to Tennessee rumors.

Jets High on Herndon, Still?

Despite a missed 2019 season last year it appears the New York football Jets are still very high on tight end Chris Herndon. Herndon did flash at the end of his rookie campaign in 2018 leading to the hype he was getting last season. New head coach added to that hype by calling the tight end special like a unicorn. The fantasy community was burned by Herndon last season will we be again?
