SlamHogs V.S. Richard Feltersnatch *(Game of the Week) *

This was the Game of the week as it was projected to be the closest of all matchups. The game featured two playoff teams from last year as The SlamHogs took on Richard Feltersnatch. The Slamhogs were able to pick up the win with a score of 156.52 to 137.16. The Hogs were led in scoring by Josh Gordon (20.30), who they just recently acquired through a trade, Robert Woods (18.60), and The stout Bears Defense (19). They also had promising rookies Kyler Murray(32.85) and T.J Hockenson(29.10) on the bench who should make their way into starting line ups soon. Feltersnatch had a strong showing led by Austin Ekeler (43.40), Saquon Barkley (20.90), and Tyler Boyd (14.30). The big concern for Feltersnatch coming out of the game is the injury to star receiver Tyreek Hill, who is set to miss the next 4 to 5 weeks with a shoulder injury. Injuries plagued this team last year and it appears the injury bug wants to stick with Feltersnatch again this season. Richard Feltersnatch (0-1) will take on the Lick My Antonio Brown-Eye (0-1) next week. The Slamhogs (1-0) are headed into a key divisional show down against rival Little Italy (1-0) in what will be a can't miss matchup.

My Ditka Got Your Gurley Off V.S. The Annexation of Puerto Rico

My Ditka Looked to start the year off on fire against the Annexation of Puerto Rico but fell short losing by a score of 164.62-130.26. My Ditka was hampered by an injury to Joe Mixon (3.70) and poor QB play which hampered OJ Howard (5.20) which negatively effected their day. The Jacksonville Defense also netted My Ditka a -3 score. They did have strong showings from David Johnson (26.70) and Allen Robinson (20.20) which offers the team some hope for bouncing back this week. The Annexation was powered to victory by Patrick Mahomes (41.68) and Amari Cooper (26.60). The Annexation looks to have another successful season and this was a nice start to that goal. The Annexation (1-0) will take on Beavers Love Wood (0-1) in week 2 as they look to start the year 2-0 for the second straight year. My Ditka (0-1) will take on Dirty Sanchez (0-1) in a battle to distance themselves from the Miss Elite danger zone.

Harry Ballsackies V.S. Beavers Love Wood

It was a week one battle between the two new teams of the Elite Fantasy Football League as Harry Ballsackies took on Beavers Love Wood. Each team wanted to make a statement gaining a win in their first game but it was the Harry Ballsackies getting it with a 170.69-147.88 victory. The Ballsackies were led to victory by Chris Carson (25.10) and Keenan Allen (30.30). Beavers Love Wood had a strong showing from Derrick Henry (32.90) but was destroyed by poor performances by Stefon Diggs (6.7) and Dante Pettis (1.7). Harry Ballsackies left some points on the bench with T.Y Hilton (28.70) and Jamison Crowder (24.30). The Ballsackies (1-0) will be part of the featured week two matchup against division rival Cocoa Nuts (1-0). Beaver Loves Wood (0-1) looks to rebound against the undefeated Annexation of Puerto Rico (1-0), as they look to get first ever win in the Elite Fantasy Football League as well as distance themselves from the Miss Elite title.

Little Italy V.S. The Dirty Sanchez Butt-Fumblers

It was a week one matchup featuring two playoff teams from last season and the matchup did not disappoint. The two teams went back and forth all day long and concluded Sunday Night. Little Italy was able to pick up the win with a score of 179.15 to 166.82. Italy was led in scoring by Carson Wentz and his 40.15 points and also aided to victory through his top two draft picks Le'veon Bell and Dalvin Cooks 23.20 and 28 fantasy points. He did however leave 31.30 points on the bench with Larry Fitzgerald. The Dirty Sanchez had top showings from Matt Ryan and his 30.32 fantasy points but left the game winning Quarterback Lamar Jackson and his 50.23 points on the bench. Had Sanchez kept Lamar in his lineup he would have secured the victory. His other top scorers were Mark Ingram (25.70) and Alshon Jeffery (22.10). Little Italy (1-0) now heads into a week 2 clash against rival The SlamHogs (1-0) in which should be a classic matchup. The Dirty Sanchez Butt-fumblers (0-1) look to rebound next week against My Ditka Got Your Gurley Off (0-1) as each team looks for their first win of the year and more importantly put some distance between them and the Miss Elite title.

Cocoa Nuts V.S. Lick My Antonio Brown-Eye

This was a battle between last years Miss Elite Kris Gardener and his Lick My Antonio Brown-Eye and reining World Champion Jake Stager's Cocoa Nuts and it was more of the same as the Cocoa Nuts won by a score of 192.03-118.46, which also was top scoring team this week. The Brown Eye had high hopes entering week one looking to finally get over his losing ways however it was not meant to be. The Brown-Eye completely fell apart as the team decided not to show up. Poor outings out of Davante Adams (7.60), Nick Chubb (11.50), and Mike Williams (4.90) sunk the Eye this week. They didn't have much of a chance as the champs squad was firing on all cylinders being led in scoring by Christian McCaffrey (43.90), Evan Engram (29.60), and Marlon Mack (30.40). It could have been worse had Cocoa Nuts played Sammy Watkins and his 55.80 points. Cocoa Nuts (1-0) will be part of the featured week two matchup as he takes on Division Rival Harry Ballsackies (1-0). The Brown-Eye (0-1) looks to rebound and get that much needed win as they battle Richard Feltersnatch (0-1) who also looks to get first win and distance themselves from the Miss Elite title.
