Week 10 Recap !!!!

Updated: Jan 2

Week ten is in the books and we are staring at the tightest playoff race in league history as all teams are still in the running with just three games left of the regular season. Coming into the week no team in the league have clinched a spot yet in the post season and after this week that still remains the case. This week we saw the latest entertaining Elite Funhouse where we were introduced to a new friend. The week had us see a major upset and a few setbacks. Lets take a look at how week ten treated our teams and what state the league finds itself in after these matchups.

Richard Feltersnatch (5-5) VS. Beavers Love Wood (6-4) *Game of the Week*

In This weeks featured matchup we seen Feltersnatch end the four game winning streak that the Beaver was on as well as extend their own winning streak to four with a 168.48 to 122.43 victory. The win didn't come without concern as two of Feltersnatch's starters went down in star back S. Barkley and wide out E. Sanders. Feltersnatch was not the only one to suffer a hit to their starting line up in this matchup as Beaver may be without star wide out T. Lockett for a while. Lockett was unable to finish last nights game and was hospitalized with a lower leg injury. This would be a huge blow to the Beavers as we inch closer to the playoffs. Feltersnatch again put up another top three finish this week extending that streak. Feltersnatch will look to stay hot when they take on the Annexation (4-6) this week. The Beaver will look to get back on track as they take on Dirty Sanchez (5-5) who is riding a two game winning streak.

My Ditka Got Your Gurley Off (4-6) VS. Cocoa Nuts (7-3)

This week we were introduced to Ditka's new friend Cocoa Puss in the latest edition of the Elite Funhouse. However, in week ten he was reacquainted with Cocoa Nuts, defending Elite Champion. As has been the theme of most of Ditka's matchups this season it came down to the Monday Night contest. Ditka's fate hung in the balance as Cocoa's defense looked to secure the win, and in the end it was the champ who stood tall with a score of 134.28 to 120.49. The loss ended Ditka's two game winning streak and extended Cocoa's to three. Ditka will need to pick up the pieces and stay focused as they are in the hunt for the final spots of the playoffs just three weeks away from locking. The Champ now moves to just one win away from locking in a playoff spot for the second year in a row. They will take on Little Italy (7-3) this week in a rematch from last years championship game. My Ditka will look to get back to winning as they take on the Brown-Eye (2-8).

Dirty Sanchez Butt-Fumblers (5-5) VS. SlamHogs (4-6)

This matchup had many storylines we were interested in would the Hogs trade last week pay dividends this week, would Dirty stay hot and continue to win, and which South team would reign supreme in this key divisional tilt. Prior to the games the Hogs executed another big trade acquiring Julio Jones but it was not enough to get him a win as Dirty blew them away to the tune of 206.36 to 159.90. The win marked Dirty's second straight and moved them up to fifth in the standings with just three weeks to go. The loss moves the Hogs down a spot to the ninth position. The loss also extends the Hogs losing streak to three. The Hogs will look to get on track tis week when they take on the falling Ballsackies (6-4) who have lost their last four in a row. Dirty will look to get another key win this week when they take on The Beavers (6-4).

Harry Ballsackies (6-4) VS. Annexation of Puerto Rico (4-6)

Both teams involved in this matchup came into the week riding significant losing streaks The AOPR (6) and Ballsackies (3). The Ballsackies were projected as the heavy favorite especially after the Annexation traded away one of their best players in Julio Jones. However, the Annexation proved that your can never count them out as they shocked the fantasy world and upset the Ballsackies by a score of 125.65 to 121.40. This win ended the long losing streak for the AOPR and extended the Ballsackies to four straight. The Ballsackies will need to figure this thing out as they are in danger of falling out of the top six if they keep losing and they meet a desperate SlamHogs (4-6) next week who are only two games back. The Annexation also moved just outside the playoff cutoff in the seventh position sitting in striking distance to get back into the post season. The AOPR will take on Richard Feltersnatch (5-5) next week in a key matchup.

Lick My Antonio Brown-Eye (2-8) VS. Little Italy (7-3)

Week five we seen this matchup and during that matchup we seen the Brown-Eye extend winning streak to two and also seen them set the all time weekly point total. This was considered the rebirth of the Brown-Eye however, since that win they have not won another game losing four in a row. The Brown-Eye was ready to snap that streak and get their second win over Italy as the all time series was tied 1-1. Little Italy came into the week after a loss to Feltersnatch last week and looking for the first of two wins to secure a playoff spot. Prior to the game both teams took a hit when news Broke M. Stafford wouldn't play due to back fractures and that damned Italy's Golladay but hurt the Brown-Eye more as that was their starter for the week. The Brown-Eye put up a fight but all hopes were erased once Dalvin Cook took the field as he ran Italy to a 168.9 to 137 victory. The win moves Italy to one game away from securing a spot in the post season. The loss moves the Brown-Eye to five straight losses and barely hanging on to any chance at the post season. They will look to cling to life as they travel to the Elite Funhouse and take on My Ditka (4-6) this week. Italy is headed to a rematch of last years finale with the Cocoa Nuts (7-3) which will be the unquestioned game of the week as the winner will be the first team to punch ticket to the post season.
